Being a geek since practically every I loved watching and reading comic books and their shows like ultimate Spiderman or the Justice league. Typically I'm more of a DC fan than marvel I think they have the better shows and comic books while Marvel just have the better movies due to Disneys fat pockets. But after deciding between Texas Chainsaw Massacre and this one I decided this one due to it being a little to graphic. This marvel movie and character as a whole I feel is personally underrated especially for being top 15 strongest character in the marvel universe but whatever I'll be analyzing the character Ghost Rider and his movie.
Low/Dutch/Birds
In this part of the movie I'd definitely say is 2nd best the way not really because of the Angles per say but because of the music that intensifies with this scene we can really feel that the ghost rider . But non the less this science uses Low Angle, Dutch Angle, and Birds eye angle. In this Low Angle shot it expresses how the ghost rider now just a normal human due to him removing the source of his power earlier in the movie this angle evokes an powerless and at a mercy feeling this angel shows how he's at his lowest point and at the mercy of the boy who could either give him back his powers or he could just leave him for dead but come on now we all know we came to see a movie about the ghost rider so he gives him back his power. With giving him his powers back we now transition over to the Dutch angle where this goes to show how the people in the black robes are scared of what's about to happen to them this dutch angels gives out suspense due to all the shaking around with maybe being a handheld camera and tilting zooming towards the people and how they look scared for their lives because as of now we're waiting for whats to faithfully come to the ones in black robes. Last and certainly the best we have this Birds eye angle simple but yet the best way for the angle to give out the feelings about power and pure badness by simply having the camera be above everyone and showing how powerful the ghost rider and his chains are killing everyone in 1 hit with his chains spiraling all around.
Eye Level
All the way towards the end of the clip is my third favorite part of the movie ghost rider just trying to hold back from transforming and me just seeing him struggling at holding back and knowing he's going to have to release his power wether he wants to or not and just knowing the next scene is about to go down. Now further more on angels we have probably the most common one being eye level. This Eye level adds more to this scene by giving a clear view of ghost riders transformation and loosing his sanity each second while driving recklessly on his flaming motorcycle so we can really tell whats going on and see his last second of humanity be put to rest and the rider out to get vengeance.
High Angel
Now this movie part right here was definitely my favorite part where the ghost rider just had enough and shows off one of his many abilities of turning whatever he wants into a hell fiery weapon just like how we see with him and his bike further more having enough with everyone shooting him and out of nowhere gets on this giant machine and wrecks everything and gets his get back on the guy that originally sent him to the hospital by saying the same words he said to him back in their first encounter "sorry does it hurt, looks like it does". Remaining on topic the High Angle helps gives and adds to the scene of the feeling of invulnerability by having showing the crane being high up and then coming down, showing the inside of the ghost rider controlling the crane from up top and seeing everyone down on the ground, and the guy getting a missile then having the camera coming from all the way up top in the sky then coming down to his face signifying him being crushed this high angle just shows in that whole scene that being in that machine and being ghost rider in general that nobody can stop him and get in the way you'll be more than just burn while all of this giving the audience all hyped/action/awesome scene due to the high angle showing the rain of hell fire coming down and with that adding a feeling of invulnerability.
In conclusion I'd give this assignment 9/10 not giving it a 10/10 due to it reminding me how I can't be as cool as the Ghost Rider was in the whole movie. But seriously though I loved how this assignment took me back to memory lane and allowed me to watch a couple clips about my top 5 favorite heroes in case someones wondering my top 5 list is (Batman, Red hood, Spiderman, Ghost rider, and Spawn). In my opinion I could've really went above and beyond by adding camera movements as well as sounds into this topic as well instead of just doing angels to make things seem a little more interesting. Or add in a couple of more clips that I didn't put in like the establishing shot in the beginning of the group of bad guys are wondering why are they randomly hearing a motorcycle at this time at night or all the way towards the end we see ghost rider send the devil back to hell and turn into an angle because those were scene I really loved when watching this movie. But I did enough for Dr.Dup (nickname for the teacher) to spare me and give me at least a nice 80%.
To start off in our film "Sugar Rush" there wasn't that "main guy" or side characters all 3 of us Michael, Me, and Johlissa (simply my teammates) were all main characters you could say. And with each of us we were as our characters we were trying to articulate how the incident that happened at the store and state how it affected us or traumatized us as some people call it and how we will never forget what happened and will tell close friends and family about this story and with telling our story we were also trying to get across that life isn't promised we can die over the stupidest thing like a burglar wanting a candy and will shoot somebody about it and how robberies and a person getting harmed isn't something to poke fun at or laugh at due to how you would feel if you were getting robbed at? If your life was on the line? Now it isn't funny. Everyone lacks that empathy till it's there turn to get the bad end of the stick. Now our characters sup
