Sound Art

To start off, I personally loved and hated doing the Sound Art project at the same time. I got to choose what we were going to do are project about which was a assassin like killer sent out by his boss Falcone to  go out in the middle of the night to kill off this lady to make lesson as of why you should pay your debt. But since I was the only one with a professional app to do it on "Adobe Premiere" I was left with editing for us three. Our group was me, Michael, and Jholyssah while I edit, Jholyssah would make the outline, and Michael would make our foley sound effects. Now our plan for the shooting was to first add sound effects of a car driving all the way to our antagonist getting out. With the antagonist getting out into the woods this is where we add our first ambient sound of the night with the crickets chirping and another sound effect of leaves getting crumbled to resemble the guy in the forest walking on leaves then,

we then planned to add our first foley sound with Jholyssah tapping on the book to resemble our antagonist walking up the porch

and then another foley sound of him trying to see if they could open the door or not
Michael then asked a fellow teacher Mr.Curry to be our antagonist and said our first dialogue "Hmmm looks thin enough" when we added in our window tapping sound effect and instead of a silent take down we wanted our scene to have a little more action and added a gun sound effect as well as the

gun shot breaking the window with our own foley sound which we used by dropping a chair to make a thump sound to indicate our antagonist is inside the home now

Then more sound effects added of walking on glass to make the sound movie a little more realistic because when shooting glass it will be all over the place after walking on glass we decided that the home should have a 2nd floor so I added my own foley sound of me running in place to resemble running up the stairs

Then Michael and us thought Mr.Curry's first dialogue so we thought we should go with Mr.Curry again with the next dialogue and we wanted him to say "Falcone sends his regards" and then me playing as the victim I would say "Please No" Then add our scream audio behind that now for the final part we would add a lighter, pouring gasoline, and house burning down sound effects and have our antagonist along with me trying sound mixing with Score and our antagonist getting in and driving off sound effects.

Me, Jholyssa, and Michael all agreed for a homemade 1st try sound project we did alright. And due to our other peers may put in less effort and be a little more sloppy we think we'll take first place. Though in some of the seems they weren't originally suppose to have the guy break the window but instead just a simple lock pick but we wanted this scene to be a little more than just a simple lock pick we wanted more action or towards the end when shooting the victim the window behind her was suppose to break behind her as well and we'd have Jholyssa flap the paper indicating that broken window had wind now rushing through and have our antagonist simply walk off. But to be a professional killer you got to hid the evidence and what better way to hide evidence other than burning the house down. But for this whole project we used a lot of YouTube and https://getn.topsandtees.space/dl/JGALPkA94q to download the videos and use the audio
Some of the example audio links we used was

Overall 10/10 fun interactive project to learn our sounds with us mostly using ambient, sound effects, sound mixing, and Score. With us deciding when to use this sound and what scene we should add with it by simply taking a vote on which scene and sound would capture our audience attention more with towards the end being satisfied with what we made and thought me screaming towards the end was a little funny. Defiantly would have to reconsider being editor and being a female character next time...
