To start off we or I or created this story board with paper and pen. But really how we created this story board is by simply creating a story first and what we wanted to do was kinda make a drama theme  and kinda based off a mockumentary about a guy snorting the candy smarties and having that candy addiction. So we decided with our story board is to start off with a black screen and add some eerie sound and fade into our establishing shot then another fade transition into our actor 1 having his dialogue 1 with another fade of our production company then a b roll of our establishing scenes we weren't able then a master shot of actor 2 in the car taking smarties and later within our storyboard we wanted to include actor 2 walking into the store with a tracking/over the shoulder then a cut to action of the monitor recording me walking into the store then a dolly shot of me walking down to the candy aisle then a  cut to me picking up the smarties then a tracking shot wit...

What Inspired You?

To start off, my group members and I chose the g enres Documentary, Drama, and Satire. And with Drama being one of the most popular genres, with one of the most popular ones consisting of this certain genre is Tyler Perry's Madea widely known in black communities as Tyler Perry is getting dressed as an old, crazy, and psychotic black women going on a frenzy of troubling events such as a police car chase, cutting a couch in half with a chainsaw, or even suggesting her family member in need to throw a hot pot of grits and smack them with a pot if this one person gives them any further trouble. But getting back on track this movie specifically Madeas Homecoming (2020) opening scene is something I kinda want if not take a little bit from and apply it to our own. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pqtyfijICsM  Automatically from the start I liked the establishing shot mixed with Ariel/high angel shot due to it showing the area which was being taken place in was pretty smooth and kinda uni...

#12 Film Opening Brainstorm

Over the past couple of days in the making of our title of the film would be we Sugar RUSH mostly due to our genre being: satirical and horror based and the whole opening scene would be about candy and how we'd get to that point and started our own mini story board and how'd we'd first start off with the title of our movie, productions, editors, actors, etc continuing with a scene of Johlissa being a news anchor, and then some dialogue for her, then we'd do a transition fade to our establishing shot maybe a gas station haven't decided yet, then a close shot of me snorting smarties, then a low angel shot of the smarties plastic falling on the camera then a cut of a over the shoulder smart of the me walking into the store and we haven't gotten much further past that but I was thinking of using a nerf gun as a prop and do a little robbery fake of course...

#11 Genre and group members blogpost

For the next up and coming project I chose my 2 Cambridge buddies Michael and Johlissa  due to me working on previous projects like sound the sound art project as well as working with them in other Cambridge classes on assignments so might as well run it back with the same squad.  Genre:  Genre: Documentary, Drama, Satire   What is the mockument ary about (decide and be clear):   A robbery over sugar addiction i.e.: candy of any kind

StoryBoarding

Image
Well, to start off what I've learned about storyboarding, is that I'm obviously the worst drawer on this planet, and as well as me definitely not being the reincarnation of Picasso. But going back to the subject storyboarding is practically the scenes you see in the moving and includes everything from lighting - angels basically everything I've learned in Digital Media Studies but just drawn down with paper and pencil and drawing as well as writing the bullet points of your scene and what you're intending to have in the scene that way it looks the same way or even better than what you attended when focusing on your storyboard. The most important thing about storyboarding is to not focus on the drawing but on all the bullet points you want to have of all of your mise-en-scene and camera shots...etc and just being able to get others to understand what you want to happen in this specific scene that way it can play out the way you want and there being absolutely no confusi...

Mise-en-scene

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance  S etting: Within this scene, the setting takes place within an unfinished construction land. We know this due to the big patch of sand/dirt everywhere, metal  crates, and a big Excavator. With this setting, it's the main job was to try to fit an army into this setting and to really show off our protagonist power. This setting was chosen to play out a role to give our audience a thrill/excitement with the rider crushing everyone with a hellfire excavator but to also send a message to them on how he's just a character who can't stay down.  Lighting: In this scene shown, we can  definitely tell low-key lighting was being used plus the combination of the time being at night leads us to understand his character. Compared to other superheroes throughout the years, characters like superman, captain America, Spiderman, etc., and their movies all show high-key lighting to reflect on...
